This payment solution leverages on the MyKad or other smartcards as the preferred instrument for cashless payment. This multi-application smart card is ideal for payments as it combines card authentication and biometric verification as a trusted source for transactions.

The payment system has also been developed to support sophisticated subsidy and welfare disbursement mechanisms for use by the government, NGOs and charity institutions. Future applications will extend into mainstream fund transfers, micro-financing and loyalty programmes.
