Solid Expandable Tubular ( SET^TM ) technology offers a cost effective, reliable approach to the way wellbores are planned and constructed. SET^TM Technology allows operators to successfully drill reservoirs that could not be reached economically with other technology. Instead of using progressively smaller pipe as a well is drilled deeper, tubular diameters are expanded with specially designed mandrels or expansion cones. This reduces well tapering while preserving borehole size.
