The Swellfix zonal isolation products come in two basic types, oil swellable ( solvent swelling ) and water swellable ( osmotic swelling ). The Swellfix swellable elastomer can be applied to Sand Control ( Gravel Packing, Screen Isolation-Cased Hole, Sealing Top Channel in Horizontals ), and Cementation Protection ( Micro-annuli, Sealing top of annulus, Sealing top Channel of Horizontals ).
