DTS supplied by Sensornet UK Ltd is a set of equipment that utilise fibre optic cable to sense temperature reading along the string by using laser to send pulses of light down the fiber.

DTS can be applied for well integrity to detect tubing and casing leak, channeling, gas lift optimization, ICV and well component monitoring. The other application is for flow profiling.  High quality DTS data with high resolution temperature measurement of 0.001^oC provides significant improvement on interpretation of the production distribution along the entire length of open hole section.
