Irene’s Career with DIALOG

Irene read Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham, England. She started as a Project Engineer for the Langsat Terminal project, and then joined the Langsat Terminal (One) project team where she experienced developing the basis of design work phase till the pre-commissioning phase of the terminal.

“I am proud of the fact that I was part of the initial development team of the Pengerang project that initiated the feasibility studies and the front end designs of the mega project. My current role with the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) team have given me opportunities to sharpen my skills in various elements of the business involving interaction with customers to understand their functional requirements and translating them into the basis of design which would in turn form the basis and scope of work for projects. This role has also allowed to me work with people across various departments within the organisation from which I have learnt much.

I am blessed with a cool boss who challenges me with opportunities while being supportive and always there to correct. He has been exceptionally patient in teaching and guiding and this allows me to grow and for me, the on-going learning process is both gratifying and rewarding.”
