MIKE NEWMAN is the Director of Petroleum Engineering of Upstream Oil and Gas. He joined DIALOG in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering & Fuel Technology from Sheffield University, United Kingdom. He has more than 53 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has acquired extensive reservoir engineering, field development and project management skills during his lengthy career with Shell International where he held a variety of technical and senior management positions. His global experience spans Europe, Africa, South America, Middle East, Former Soviet Union, South East Asia, and includes 8 years working for Shell in East Malaysia.
