Irene

Irene studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham, England. She started as a Project Engineer for the Langsat Terminal project, and then joined the Langsat Terminal (One) project team where she experienced developing the basis of design work phase till the pre-commissioning phase of the terminal.

“I am proud of the fact that I was part of the initial development team of the Pengerang project that initiated the feasibility studies and the front end designs of the mega project. My current role with the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) team have given me opportunities to sharpen my skills in various elements of the business involving interaction with customers to understand their functional requirements and translating them into the basis of design which would in turn form the basis and scope of work for projects. This role has also allowed to me work with people across various departments within the organisation from which I have learnt much."

Qayyum

Managing the end to end recruitment process has given Qayyum an insight into the roles of each division within DIALOG. He received his credentials in Human Resource Management from the Open University Malaysia. As a Recruitment Manager, he has gained a better understanding of the types of talents that would be valuable for a company in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

“Being inquisitive and an ardent enthusiast of everything human resource, I always keep myself updated with news of the employment market. My role in DIALOG requires me to manage the entire cycle of the recruitment process. As such, I need to be conversant with current recruitment trend and expectation from both employer and employee’s perspectives."
